Malaga airport will end the year with record figures of around 20 million passengers

Malaga Airport is expected to close the year with a record-breaking figure of nearly 20 million passengers.
Statistics show that in the first 11 months of this year, 18.7 million passengers used the airport, which was an increase of 4.5 per cent compared with the same period in 2018. There were 135,896 flights, which was nearly three per cent more than last year. The majority of travellers took international flights, although there was an eight per cent increase in flights to other Spanish destinations.
The AENA airport authority believes it is unlikely that Malaga will break the 20 million barriers, this year but the final figure will be very close.
